Clos y Nant, meaning ‘close to the brook’, is in the leafy suburb of Fairwater, Cardiff and overlooks Fairwater Park. The scheme has:

  • 31 one-bedroom properties,
  • 1 two-bedroom maisonette style property, and
  • 4 bedsits properties.

The rear garden has two patios, and green-fingered residents are welcome to plant and look after their own garden areas. The scheme has a comfortable communal lounge and regular social events are arranged. There is also a well being room which can be used by residents should they wish to discuss anything personal with staff.

Residents are welcome to invite friends or relatives to stay in the twin-bedded, ensuite guest room, which can be booked for £10 a night.

A scheme manager is available during office hours from Monday to Friday to offer advice on day-to-day issues and to help in an emergency. Each flat also has an alarm linked to Telecare offering 24-hour support and reassurance when the scheme manager is not on site.
